Managing IBS Through Mindfulness

Stress is all around us.. as we move along this December we see it, feel it .. the stress of getting ready for the holidays , buying the gifts, attending functions…

Stress impacts our gut and can bring on IBs flare ups.  Did you know you can manage the stress, the day to day stress you are experiencing through mindfulness, through practicing gratitude, shifting your thinking to more positive events or that magic in the air.

It takes practice and time to get there .. it steps and awareness.

#in my own life I have situations that arise . Like my week last week where at the end of it I discovered a leak in the tire of my new vehicle 😢.

Simply focused on solving the problem like scheduling an appointment with my dealership’s service department .

The situation could have made me very upset , created a lot of stress in my mind by focusing on how the tire leak could have disrupted my life. But did not go there… focused on taking g care of the problem which made calm.

I was never like this, it took practice to get here.

At the end of the week I naturally focused on some great things that happened, it was not all bad.

Moving from reacting to situations, a normal human reaction, to being calm takes steps and I can help you with that.  It part of what I do in my coaching to help you move that needle. It is all about your wellbeing and your IBS. Studies have shown that that mindfulness does decrease pain and severity of all the IBS related symptoms.

Marica Gaspic

Living with IBS can quietly take over your life — not just through pain and bloating, but through the constant uncertainty, loss of confidence, and fear of not being able to trust your own body.

I help high-performing women with IBS move from symptom-chasing to true physiological stability — by understanding IBS as what modern gastroenterology defines it to be: a disorder of gut–brain interaction involving the nervous system, microbiome, immune function, and stress physiology.

As a pharmacist and gut health coach — and as someone who has personally lived with IBS — I bring both clinical expertise and lived understanding to the work we do together. My clients don’t just “manage” IBS. They rebuild trust in their body, regain energy and confidence, and create a sustainable system of support that fits their real life.

This is not about restriction or short-term fixes.

It’s about building a body that finally makes sense.

Why Work With Me

Personal Experience

I have lived with IBS and successfully stabilized my own health — giving me deep insight into both the emotional and physiological realities of this condition.

Clinical Expertise

As a pharmacist, I bring evidence-based understanding of human physiology, gut–brain signaling, microbiome science, and medication interactions into every plan I create.

Proven Results

I have guided women through sustainable, personalized recovery frameworks that improve symptoms, restore energy, and dramatically elevate quality of life.

Together, we build a personalized, sustainable gut health strategy that supports your body, your lifestyle, and your long-term wellbeing — so you can live with calm, clarity, and confidence again.
