Module 1 -What is IBS

Get ready to finally understand what’s really going on inside your gut. In this first module, you’ll learn what IBS truly is — a disorder of gut–brain interaction, not “just stress” or “all in your head.”
We’ll break down the science in simple terms so you can connect the dots between your symptoms, your nervous system, and your microbiome.
By the end, you’ll have a clear picture of why your gut reacts the way it does — and you’ll start seeing your symptoms through a whole new lens of understanding and possibility.

Module 2- How is IBS Diagnosed

Ever felt dismissed or confused by your diagnosis? In this module, you’ll learn how IBS is properly diagnosed and what tests or criteria are used — including what’s often missed in standard care.
We’ll walk through the Rome IV criteria, common missteps in diagnosis, and what your symptoms are really telling you.
By the end, you’ll feel informed and empowered to have clearer conversations with your healthcare team — and confident that your journey has a solid foundation built on understanding, not guessing.

Module 3- Symptoms and Triggers

This is where things start to click. In this module, you’ll explore why your symptoms show up when they do — and uncover the patterns behind your bloating, pain, diarrhea, or constipation.
You’ll learn to identify your unique IBS triggers, from certain foods and stressors to hormonal shifts and lifestyle habits that quietly affect your gut.
By the end, you’ll have the clarity to see what’s fueling your flare-ups and the tools to start taking control — one mindful connection at a time.

  • Not necessarily. If you experience ongoing bloating, constipation, diarrhea, or gut discomfort, this course will help you uncover possible triggers and patterns — and guide you toward getting the right support or diagnosis if needed.

  • You can complete it at your own pace. Most students take about 2–3 hours to go through the modules and workbook activities, but many like to revisit sections over a few weeks as they apply what they learn. description
